Walking Patiently Through Difficulty
Posted by Ashleigh Slater on May 6, 2008

Untakeablebeauty This week we continue our discussion of patience with two new articles.

For those of you who read Part 1 of Marian Green's article "Sweetness & Surrender" this past Thursday, the wait for Part 2 is over. Today we have the conclusion to her story. In it, Marian shares the end results of the court battle over the adoption of her son. I personally found it to be an encouraging reminder that even in difficult seasons of life, God is in control, orchestrating every detail of our lives.

Our second piece is from freelance writer, Ashley Weis. In "Untakeable Beauty," she shares how her husband's dabbling in pornography caused her to doubt her own God-given beauty. She encourages us as women to remember that we are uniquely created by God and He doesn't make mistakes. It's a story that illustrates how we can learn to view ourselves as God does.

As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this week's articles. What stood out to you or encouraged you this week?
